12 people attended the social sponsored by Norma Lewis on her soon to be 68, no 86th birthday July 4th. Jeanne Bishop's new hearing aids will have BlueTooth capability built in! Technology is incredible!
The temp is projected to be about 112 on the 4th. We're looking forward to the next cold front to bring us back down to 105. At least we don't live at Lake Havasue AZ its projected to be 125 on the 4th.
Thelma is leaving today. Will be in Lakeside till the middle of Aug & then to Dick's 9th Infantry Reunion in Grand Rapids,MI for four days. Then back to Lakeside till the middle of Sept, then to NY state for about 3wks to attend Dick's 359th army reunion and to see sister Bernice in Fredricks, MD and Dick's brother in Clayton NY.
Joan Popejoy on 641 passed away Thursday and there will be services on Monday.

Bob & Claire,
With every technological advance there are always unexpected consequences, so I'm not ruling anything out! When the box opens for the first time on a new set of hearing aids, I always hear the Twilight Zone theme song in my head. (grin)
My next chance to try them out will be the last week of July. I hope the Phonak Techies were able to clear up the sound quality of the hearing aid part! Of course, the BlueTooth parts worked just fine. Go figure.
