WASN'T THERE AN RV PARK HERE SOMEWHERE??

Picture one you are standing on Cuatro looking West toward the Sawmill with Entrada on your right. Picture two is a pile of concrete slabs. You are looking Southwest at Aztec and Seis. (site 309 behind the tree and the trailer on 310)

They started construction on the second block of Patio Sites on Saturday. (We thought they were starting Monday.) They are moving right along. They will take the dirt down to grade, about 4 inches, relocate the water, sewer, and cable and stake out 2 or 3 sites by Tuesday morning when Chuck flies in from CA to give the OK on the angle of the sites. There are patio tables and benches on 260, red rock on site 252, and dirt on another lot and truck loads over in storage at FHE. It will be on to concrete, trees, and patio walls. I will keep you up to date as progress is made.

PS Denise & Lew: This is a visual of what Betty was trying to explain to you.

Liz Sikorsky just returned from visiting her folks June & John Miller. They talked alot about their years at the Village and all their good friends. They just moved to a house that their son Daniel had made handicapped accessible. Liz golfed one day with June. I'm sure they'd love to hear from anyone. Thanks for your friendships toward them. HOT! HOT! JOB

Repairs are also going on on the roof. Just imagine the Arizona heat and then the "WHITE" roof. Tom Brown a temp worker was on the roof everyday last week. The whole West side of the roof has been patched and Elastic coated. Next week or the next we will start on the East side of the roof.

SAUNDRA ADDING MORE ARIZONA COLOR

Things are changing all over the Village. The clearing work is wrapped up in the Uno Wash. The paint is going up in rooms AB & C. Tile was added to the back splash of the sink in room C, Cactus Room. Irma & Jesus took the wall paper off the wall behind the bullentin boards so that it could be painted also. So far the vote is still not in on if it is liked or not. The color behind the easels is Celery Ice.

WASH CLEANING BEHIND UNO

Two temp workers, have been working for over 2 weeks to clean the wash between Uno and Sunquist Apartments. The wash has been building up over the last couple of years and with the construction of the wall last year debris has been left in the wash that had the potential of impeding the flow of rain water and creating a fire hazard. The green trees look nice and cool and relaxing but remember this is AZ and the temperatures have been a 100 or close to, so it's like a sauna.
