If you are gone from your home a lot either working or traveling, it is probably a good idea to take your phone off too.
Google had implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit MapQuest you will get a map to the person's house. Everyone should be aware of this! It's a nationwide reverse telephone book.
If a child gives out his/her phone number, someone can now look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious, and alarming.
Note that you can have your phone number removed or blocked.
Please look up your own number.
In order to test whether your phone number is mapped, go to: google (www.google.com) type your phone number in the search bar (i.e. 555-555-1234) and hit enter. If you want to BLOCK Google from divulging your private information, simply click on your telephone number and then click on the Removal Form. Removal takes 48-hours.
Check your own number this may not apply to you if you have an unlisted number or cell phone as primary contact.
Please share this information with friends and family.

MIKE & VICKI IN WASHINGTON STATE
We had a nice stay at Blue Lake RV & Campgound in eastern Washington, visiting with the friends who own it and others. Lots of great changes to the park, it's exciting. We left there and drove to Lacey, WA, and backed the rig into friend's driveway (that always excites the neighbors!) Had a nice visit there then drove in the rain all day last Wednesday up the coast of Washington into Olympic National Park where Mike will Camp Host/Asst. Ranger all summer. They had our site blocked with piles of blowdown, one BIG tree. After cutting it up a bit and rolling it to another site, it took Mike and I over 1/2 hour to back the rig in - reeeaalll tight! And raining the whole time - in fact it rained until today! But he is excited about it and went right to work. We drove into Port Angeles Thursday afternoon and had a message here from Marv and Dorothy Gragert, so we met them for breakfast Friday morning. They will leave here for Minn Sunday morning, visiting Dilleys and others on the way. I am in Port Angeles now where I will stay with my Mama and give my little sis a break. Mama has to have double hernia operation May 10, and at 89 that is a little scary.
It's really great to read all the news from others.
Hugs to Everyone, Mike & Vicki

Words From Back Home
Hi to everyone I finally got a new ISP and up and running now. We got home the 10th of April and the morning of the 11th we woke up to 4 inches of snow and it was still snowing, but we weathered the storm and little by little we are getting things back in place. I Mowed grass the first time today so the summer work is beginning. Hope this finds everyone ok and the goodLord willing we'll be seing you in the fall.

Hi BJ:
We arrived home safe and sound, this time we took 3 days instead of 2. Still have back problems from falling off the bike while in Tucson, the Dr. said it would take 4- 6 weeks before it gets better. Was really amazed at the damage the ice storm in January caused to Springfield, Mo.

Hi,
We are doing great! We left FHTV on 3 April and today, 21 April, we’re at Arlingon, TX, just south of Dallas. We are staying happy and healthy and doing fun things. We saw friends in Mesa, AZ. We made a Camping World stop at Albuquerque. We stayed at an SKP park in Artesia, NM, after having our coach batteries replaced (on warranty) at Roswell. We toured Carlsbad Caverns and had lunch down in the cave. We hiked together and I did a longer hike myself at Big Bend National Park, in TX. And yes, we went and had blood work done in San Angelo, just yesterday. (It is ok and he’s set to start chemo again on Tuesday.)
I have lots of photos posted on my blog at http://myjanee.blogspot.com/. I’ve also posted the FHTV Summer Blog link in my Friends Blogs listing. J
